I have the same thing. Signal stengths on my H20 are in the 75 to 80 range. On my Phillips Tivo unit, all readings are in thev 90's. When we had a snow storm, the signal readings on my H20 dropped into the 30's and I lost my picture.

I was told by DirecTV that the upgrade to the new Mpeg-4 HD DVR will be $99 for those of us who now have the standard DVRs -- seems like a good deal. And, i bet, for those who talk to customer retention and have a good track record with DirecTV, the cost will be less or free.

Mounting on side of house My friend has his 5LNB dish mounted on the side of his house into the brick using the appropriate bolts..seems very steady.

Is everyone experiencing some drop of audio on NBC-4 HD over DirecTV in DC? It drops every so often and the sound seems a little clipped to me. Any solution to this or is it a DirecTV issue? All of my signal strength readings seem in the range that everyone else is reporting.
