I too have the bug where after watching a recording on other Hopper I get a blank screen. I need to change from say 112 to 111 and then back to 112 in order to see it. Never had this till 440.

Do you have backup on your hopper?

Just under 275 watts for both but really only more interested in keeping the hopper running which is 45 watts according to everyone on line. The TV I can just turn back on. The hopper I have to wait up to 5 minutes and it will be during the most important part of the show.

I have the original hopper and now have a whole house generator. Can I add a battery backup to the hopper like I have on my computer? If so what size do you all use?

I've just come to the Conclusion that this latest update has messed up the HDMI on my TV. Now about 3 or 4 times since the update I get NO picture when I turn on the TV and Sat. If I unplug the cable and plug it back in I get the picture back. Anyone else ave this? Wasn't this a problem with...

Seems like what I used to hear on vol 24 now takes vol 26. In other words almost all channels need more vol to hear.

That's the first thing I checked. I don't know if I'd works on family room as with the hopper we don't use that TV in the winter so we don't heat room above 60 unless needed. edit=just rebooted it again for 3 rd time as I always reboot all systems after updates and now it works.

No more new stuff that don't work correctly till they fix ALL the junk that don't work right now.

Dish has been bullying us with their stupid AMC, BIG TEN junk to name a few.
