    I hope you are wrong. I do not want to go through another football season watching SD games. I have the NFL Sunday Ticket Superfan and get the HD games, but then I don't get Sunday Night Football in HD!

    I heard that the contract was signed earlier this month and should be turned on either today or next Wednesday. Did anybody get them today or know if next Wednesday is the day?

    I live in Union County. Yeah, I found out sadly when I got home. I called them and had them put in waivers for the New York locals. I should have done that awhile ago. BJ

    With all the excitement about the new channels, I was wondering if anybody got their locals in HD from this launch? I am in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre market and I am sure they probably didn't get rolled out, but I won't know until I get home from work. BJ

    Just got off the phone with DirecTV. 35 New Channels Tomorrow!

    Just got off the the phone with Tech support. She told me that 35 channels will be added tomorrow the 19th! I asked her what time and she said she didn't know, but probably at midnight. HD locals in my area are supposedly included for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre market. Woohoo! BJ

    Darn, I guess I will have to have them send out some waivers for me then. It will take up to 45 days they tell me. I am right on the border of the Harrisburg market too which is in HD.

    BTW, I was told by several CSRs at DirecTV that the Scranton market will indeed be included with the rollout this month. However, that was before this "partial" failure.

    I too live in the Scranton Wilkes-Barre market and I am really hoping that this statement means that I am going to get my locals for next Wednesday. It is really annoying that I can't pull the channels off the air where I live and I miss many NFL games in HD because of this.
