    Homeplug Broadband Setup

gfci may interfere with the homeplug technology. There are two options you have that will require some Sherlocking on your part... One would be to find 3 outlets on the same leg and adjust your setup accordingly... you can go to menu 6 1 8 on both receivers to see if they are able to communicate...

What does it take to get new Channel?

They can replace your 1000.2 dish with a 1000+ which will give you the sats you need for domestic, international and hd... from one dish. The technician will have to install a switch and power inserter. Good luck, hope this helps. ; )

    61.5 sucks in the rain

Do you know which spotbeam your locals come on? Spot 3 has some definite issues, fyi.

    Signal strength-spotbm 03/61.5-Flint,MI.?

That spotbeam is quite weak on the sat itself. Detroit locals come off of it as well and we (as installers) are lucky to get it into the mid 30s. It sounds like your signals are peaked judging from the other numbers you provided. Hopefully something will be done about it 'soon'. ;)

alternatives for folks losing channels due to move from 61.5 to 118

Unfortunately there is not an alternative at this time for customers receiving international programming from the 61.5 sat. The 118.7 is now (for all intents and purposes) 'the international bird'. If you do not have los to the 118, you will not have any los at the 119, as they are in the same...

Acutrac 22 Pro & Dish network DishPro Twin

I think Webbydude is correct... If the meter isn't supplying enough (600mA?) current, it won't power the LNB enough to peak your signal.Hook it up through the receiver, or... if you have the line out there anyway, tune the dish off of the point dish screen. (VIVA LA MEXICANTOWN!)

    Really weird issue

Just use two 500 dishes instead. DPP Twin has the jumper port as well, and you can keep your tin foil for your chili. :)

DP34 looses Satellite Bird 119 in Night

Hard to tell from the picture... but the LOS to 119 should be well over the trees (though the camera angle might be playing tricks...) Ugh #1 - No drip/service loops at switch Ugh#2 - Radio shack cable to receivers Ugh#3 - Switch is grounded (not UL listed) It is quite possible that you have...

Can I have more than 4 TVs hooked up.

Sorry for being more specific than you required! To answer your question simply: Yes, an installer can come out and get you going with your desired setup without changing or replacing your dishes. :) Apologies again for the confusion ;)

    Odd Problem

I believe a service call is in order, yes. :) Good luck with it, and let us know how it turns out. ;)

Can I have more than 4 TVs hooked up.

The mirror solution would definitely be the most cost effective, seeing as Dish will now only allow 4 tuners to be leased. Adding the switch is no big deal, though it depends on your dish/LNB setup (see: Don't mix DPP LNb's with 44 switches!) If your system is diplexed, you will add splitters...
