I doubt E* will give you a better deal. I had been with them for 10 years and wanted to add a second HD DVR. E* wanted to charge me $100 for the other HD DVR and up my bill an additional $13 per month to have it. I gave them several chances to make a better deal and they never came up with...

Just an FYI, if you are wanting another Tivo HD, Sears has them for $199 in store now. I just picked one up after switching to Fios TV this week from E*. I gave the Vz box a chance but it is not up to par with my old 622. From what I have read the Tivo should get me close to it.

I'm planning on going to a VZ store tomorrow and look at the DVR and get a quoted price from them. From what I figured by their literature I should be saving close to $30 a month at least by bundling HD and Internet. Updated: I just signed up for Fios after talking with dish and not getting...

I get about the same as you, except I have HBO instead of Showtime and pay the same per month. Now I want to add a second HD DVR to replace my old 508. When I called to inquire about what the new cost would be E* wants me to pay $100 for a 612, and increase my bill $12 per month. :eek...

I hear ya, I just switched from a tilt to an iPhone for the same reason. No one is writing for WinMobile now. Granted I could get my sling box to work, but not much else. Sling should have their iPhone app running soon (I hope).

I'm right there with you. I love my tilt and all the mods I have done to it. One of the best parts to me is NO iTunes. Slingplayer works great right now. I just need my DVR to have it built in.
