Problem resolved. I went into Setup-HDsetup and changed from 720p to 480i. The composite video started working. Went back into Setup-HDsetup and reset to 780p (my preference fo HDTV on my plasma screen) and the composite output continued to work. I have no idea why this did anything...

Are there provisions to skip past commercials when viewing recorded programming on the Pocket Dish? If I can't skip commercials this would be a deal breaker for me. Thanks much.:)
