I watched 4K ppv fine previously via my hopper 3 on my Optoma UHD 60 4K projector. Passes 4K hdr through my Xbox One x and Marantz sr5010 4K hdr receiver just FINE with Netflix and YouTube apps. Dish reports error 1540 format not supported on the screen. Anyone else seeing this glitch?

Yes, but will try again later. Do I have to reboot the drive every single day? Isn't there a way to get the Hopper to process it better. I never had the problem with the external drives on my 722. It just worked every time. Sent from my iPad using SatelliteGuys mobile app

I still have the disappearing drives glitch occasionally, but not as often. The problem I DO have, is that I have to ask it twice to play content off of an external drive. It reads the content, makes a bunch of tiles, and then when I click on the tile, I just get a black screen and it doesn't...

Bingo! Problem solved.... Surprised the tech guys didn't give me this fix months ago. To save people from clicking through.... Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features > Dishplayer Desktop App and click on Repair. After it takes a minute or two to process, all is well again....

BTW, there is no Windows Store App for Dish either.... This would seem to be the easiest solution to get around the problem. I can stream everything on the planet it seems, except the live picture from my Hopper 3

The only team I want to watch is the Mets, and MLB.TV black out the Mets, Yankees, and Phillie games in my Zip Code.

Is it in the Joeys also? I use the XBox One for most streaming in the main room where my Hopper is connected, so that is what I was referring to.....

Does E* let you watch YOUR games? All I get are about a dozen games a year when they land on free broadcast tv (maybe one a week, but usually on a weekend when I'm not home anyway). They even blackout the ones that make it to ESPN.
