    DirecTV& DishNetwork

Understood. Was just pointing out a way to solve the Sunday Ticket conundrum. I have another year until my daughter gets out of college and then I will need another solution as well.

    Why do I have Dish?

The only thing anchoring me to Dish is 15 years of content stored on a bunch of EHDs. Losing the HBO channels didn't hurt because I can replace it all with HBOMax. The only real nuisance right now is my inability to watch SNY, my regional sports network. For some inexplicable reason, they...

    DirecTV& DishNetwork

If you have a kid in college, you can subscribe to Sunday Ticket through your XBox or Fire TV. Discounted price available for college students too. Only one stream can be active, and they check against some database to confirm your student's status, but that is a way to get Sunday Ticket...

DISH to deliver Olympics in 4K HDR

I watched 4K ppv fine previously via my hopper 3 on my Optoma UHD 60 4K projector. Passes 4K hdr through my Xbox One x and Marantz sr5010 4K hdr receiver just FINE with Netflix and YouTube apps. Dish reports error 1540 format not supported on the screen. Anyone else seeing this glitch?

Hopper 3 keeps losing EHD connection

I also use two WD MyBooks. I have had failures with Seagates and Toshibas, but never with the WDs (knock on wood)

Hopper 3 keeps losing EHD connection

Yes, but will try again later. Do I have to reboot the drive every single day? Isn't there a way to get the Hopper to process it better. I never had the problem with the external drives on my 722. It just worked every time. Sent from my iPad using SatelliteGuys mobile app

Hopper 3 keeps losing EHD connection

I still have the disappearing drives glitch occasionally, but not as often. The problem I DO have, is that I have to ask it twice to play content off of an external drive. It reads the content, makes a bunch of tiles, and then when I click on the tile, I just get a black screen and it doesn't...

Streaming to my office PC from my Hopper3 at home doesnt work. (Edit: Fix Found - Scroll Down)

Bingo! Problem solved.... Surprised the tech guys didn't give me this fix months ago. To save people from clicking through.... Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features > Dishplayer Desktop App and click on Repair. After it takes a minute or two to process, all is well again....

Streaming to my office PC from my Hopper3 at home doesnt work. (Edit: Fix Found - Scroll Down)

BTW, there is no Windows Store App for Dish either.... This would seem to be the easiest solution to get around the problem. I can stream everything on the planet it seems, except the live picture from my Hopper 3

Streaming to my office PC from my Hopper3 at home doesnt work. (Edit: Fix Found - Scroll Down)

Been trying to stream to my Windows 10 PC for over a year now without success. I download the installer as instructed. It says initializing, the bar fills, and then nothing else happens. I can connect fine from my phone, and my tablet, but it refuses to work on my PC. Anyone know a...

DISH Adds Multi-Room Music to Hopper DVR

Is it in the Joeys also? I use the XBox One for most streaming in the main room where my Hopper is connected, so that is what I was referring to.....

Does E* let you watch YOUR games? All I get are about a dozen games a year when they land on free broadcast tv (maybe one a week, but usually on a weekend when I'm not home anyway). They even blackout the ones that make it to ESPN.
