    Don't think they have disabled it mine is working fine. Probably bad box.Since it is a h20-600 might have got too hot.

    I have the 91xg mounted on 50ft tower and my personal experience is the blue and violet stations are still hard to receive. I do receive signals from 60-80 miles but rarely lock on to stations at that distance. Keep in mind your terrain and the power at which your stations transmit are also...

    I bought my 91 xg from solid signal.Also I havn't had any luck with locking on to anything over about sixty miles and I have mine mounted on a 50ft tower. I was going to post a link to the 91xg on their site but for some reason I couldn't access the site.

    Just checked the Fcc website to see what power wvla is transmitting at and if the site is correct and they are full power it says they are 1000kw. I am posting a link to their service contour map.You are probably in a fringe area though even at this power...

    The nbc the op was trying to receive is 72 miles away which will probably be a stretch.But you never know till you try.I think his nbc is probably transmitting digital but not high def.

    I would second the motion for a 91xg(my current antenna)and use a cm7777 amp too. Also I would suggest that you get the antenna as high as possible.Mine is approximately 50ft(on a tower) and I pick up stations 60 miles away.

    Im looking at the signal meter for the 99 sat on my h20 and and tp3 is 96 and tp7 is 83. BTW I have birmingham al locals.
