HR24. Simply put, its here, its available, its fast, it does advanced features (youtube, on demand, MRV, etc.) And you can get deals if you ask for retention when you call up Directv. Just say you are thinking of going to Dish or Cable.

I would encourage Directv to offer PIP. I have it via the TV but want it natively. Come'on Directv gimme my PIP!

Correct. If you are on an HR24 for example and hit record on a program, it records it to the HR24. If you do that on an H23 for example, it will then ask you which DVR do you want to record to.
