I agree with this too... just earlier today I was on one of the XM stations and tried to input channel "1000". I pressed all the keys as anyone else would enter a channel number (in a timely fashion with no errors), but only the "1" registered for a few seconds, causing the entry to time out...

Same here... I just upgraded to HD last week (via directv.com). The box came with no cables, and the installer didn't have any cables. I had to pull the HDMI cable from my DVD player to even hook up the box. The installer didn't have any B-Band convertors with him, so I was without HD...

I was just about to ask this same question... in my case I'd like to know so I can use my own DVR with hauppauge's new upcoming device that records 1080i/720p via component: HD PVR Product overview When that box comes out, I have every intention of getting it and (finally) upgrading to DirecTV...

Been with DirecTV since they converted my family from Primestar. Never had a reason to change, as they offer all the TV programming I'm interested in and have always provided me with excellent customer service on the few occasions I've ever needed it.

I checked the Uptime on my receiver this morning and it was at 8 hours... so I'm *hoping* it is fixed, but won't know for sure until I get home from work this evening. However, ever since the reboot problem first occured, I can no longer exit the One-Line Guide by pressing the Exit/Clear key on...
