I'm noticing my local CBS removed their station from dish. I've been a Dish customer since around 2003/2004. I'm considering dropping them with no redzone and no CBS college football. Season is two months away.

This just started happening to me about a month ago and it's been driving me crazy. I knew it wasn't the TV because it only happens with dish. I tried using a different HDMI cable and nothing. Found this thread and set the cursor to invisible then resized my screen and set it back. It's gone...

Northwest Arkansas is sunny and it did the same thing.

Born in '75 and we had 12 stations until 1990 when our cable company converted everyone. As the youngest I was the remote control.

I can see why non sports fans couldn't care less about the ESPN disputes but AMC's original programming has been solid and my contract is up so it won't cost me anything if i switched. It will be a matter of time before threads come up about TLC, A&E and the History Channel.

ESPN already has too much say in sports. Fans need to band together and start listening to radio broadcasts if this happens. There was a day when hardly any games were broadcast. Universities, who actually have the product ESPN wants to broadcast, need to realize less people will be viewing...

I can't believe it's 2011 and games are still being blacked out. Surprised companies don't complain that their ads are not being seen by everyone as many times games go to commercials.

They should bring back the TV1 or TV2 record option when you set a show to record. It was a lot easier back then.

I've been noticing it for a long time. Even sports aren't as clear as they once were. I have HD recorded programs on my external hard drive from years ago that look better than shows today.

I wish I could set something to record and choose TV1 or TV2 on the spot instead of it being set to default. I used to be able to do this on the 522. Sometimes I want to record something while I'm watching TV2.

Been having the exact same problem. Guide is downloading now. I will do a hard reboot to see if that fixes it. I miss my 522. I had an option when choosing something to record from the guide to set my dvr to tv1 or tv2.

All that just to get the Hallmark channel. A guy will do anything for Little House on the Prairie.

When you switch, do the D* techs just replace the dish in the same spot? How different is the setup?

I have E* and was at a tailgate Saturday. The tent next to us had D* and had ESPNU in HD. I love Dish's DVR but I might consider jumping for sports.

I wish Holmes on Homes would by E*.
