My E* Deal :) I got a 942 and 811 from E* for $299 minus $50 credit off 1st months bill after letting them know that I was shopping around between them and D*. I told them that I was switching from Voom and they said they would give me the 811 at no charge so I could have HD in both rooms!

Same here... I cancelled my service on the 9th because i signed up with Dish and I come home today and see the "Voom not authorized" screen. I do have my own OTA and Dish will be here Wed to hook up! I'm going to miss VOOM but I think I will Love the 942 and 811!

i Haven't had any problems at all with "black" screens w the component connection- I'm thinking my DVI cable is bad>???

I'm having trouble with my DVI input as well-the game looks better thru DVI than component but the screen is flashing purple streaks every few seconds and will go black at times-seems its doing it on every channel-component pq doesn't look good but atleast i don't have the purple streaks-I'm new...
