    How do I know if the cable is bad? The cable worked for standard def fine, would it be fine for HD as well? Is there an easy way of testing the lnb or do I need to take it in?

    I've got all zero's with the 101 satellite. Would that have to do with not having a BBC or do I just have it aimed wrong. I ordered a BBC so it should get here within a couple of days.

    I know his receiver works because I disconnected it at his place. For some reason he doesn't need that bbc thing. Maybe he's got a different dish.

    I'm trying to set this up at a vacation home and I don't feel like doubling my monthly bill so I'd prefer to do it on my own. So I just connect this bbc thing to the coax coming from the dish? Do I need one for each tv? Would it show all zeros if I don't have this as far as signal strength goes?

    Im not using an Swm setup or a DVr Is this dish made only for a DVr? What is bbc in line? Do I need one of these for just a receiver and not a DVr?

    If the receiver says SWM1 on the back where the satellite in is located, does that mean I should select SWM? Or do I need to buy this BBC tuner?What is a bbc tuner? The b band converter?
