    811 with front projector

    I also have the 811 hooked up to the X-1. The screen is 9 feet wide by 5 feet high. I had a crowd over for the superbowl and everyone was blown away! However, I agree that SD tv is almost unwatchable.

    Lets get a list of Receivers where Dolby Digital does not work.

    Chewy: I am not familiar with the AVR55. It appears to be about 6 years old where the 8000 was discontinued little over a year ago. Make sure you are on the right inputs. See manual at: http://manuals.harman.com/HK/Owner%27s%20Manual/AVR55%20OM4-98.pdf Other than that cannot be of much help...

    Got the 811 in January and it has always worked great with my Harmon Kardon AVR8000.
