    HD-DVRs in Stock??

Actually, they volunteered a reimbursement, but I declined, for now. Rather than concede 3+ weeks of lost service (including the 24 season premiere weekend) I want to play with the HR10 a little more to see if I can get something out of it.

    HD-DVRs in Stock??

I have a failing HR10, so they offered my an HR20 for $99 (2 year lease, blah, blah blah). The best delivery date they would give me, even with our service dead in the water with the HR10, was Jan. 18 (24 days). I would also prefer to just have it shipped and replace the receiver and dish...

DISH 921 for sale at cost

Sold on eBay (Buy-it-Now the first day). Thanks to those here at satelliteguys who inquired.

DISH 921 for sale at cost

I think $1070 is very reasonable in this market. I expect I can get more on eBay, but who knows. Like I said, I am just trying to break-even. I wanted to give the informed buyers here first shot. VSSL's web page says "... now shipping, kinda." Not sure what "kinda" means, but I bet a new...

DISH 921 for sale at cost

I have a DISH (Echostar) 921 HD DVR that I am replacing with a DirecTV system. My plan is to list it on eBay, but I would prefer to sell it to someone here. This unit has worked very well for me. It has no problems other than software immaturity issues that you can see discussed here. I am...

Blue Lines in Video on 921

I have searched and searched, but I cannot determine what hardware problems have been confirmed. Are there any known hardware problems with units pre-QA-hold? If so, is DISH replacing units a) proactively, b) upon request, c) only if certain problems are seen, or d) not at all?

Rumor: Dish close to adding YES

After 8 years, I am beginning the process. My annual pre-pay anniversary is/was later this month, and I have changed to month-to-month. I have a 921, and as soon as I can get an HD DirecTivo, I am gone.

Rumor: Dish close to adding YES

Scott- thanks for your support on this. How you can be in CT and not be a Yankee fan is something I will never comprehend :) . But, you overcame that personality flaw to argue the case for E* to provide a competitive level of service.

Rumor: Dish close to adding YES

Already placed my call with my local retailer. I will go to D* as soon as I can get a HR10-250. Too bad, because I have been an eight year E* customer.

MLB Extra Innings Coming to DISH!

I would say that any information that pre-dates the Cablevision/YES arbitration is invalid. I would guess that Charlie was keeping talks alive in hopes that the decision would go in Cablevision's favor; since it did not, Charlie probably put a halt to it at that point. I would love to be...

    Dish MLB Extra Innings Schedule

Why is the EI package different by provider? JohnH is confirmed by the schedule for Tuesday: INDEMAND shows the Yankees on Channel MB07, but it is not on the DISH MLB-EI schedule. Are all YES-provided broadcasts prohibited, by reason of no in-market carriage agreement, from being carried by DISH?

Rumor: Dish close to adding YES

Scott- realistically, do you think it's time to give up hope? I have been holding off, but I don't want to find myself in June, still thinking it might be any day.

    Dish MLB Extra Innings Schedule

At least one Yankee game is listed wrong: 4/6 NY(AL) vs. Atlanta.

Rumor: Dish close to adding YES

I don't understand how YES affects the baseball package. Are you referring to Extra Innings, or some other to-be-defined package that DISH may offer that includes YES?

Rumor: Dish close to adding YES

I don't have the numbers, so I can only speak theoretically, but I bet it's pretty close to accurate. It seems like the best way to analyze the "fairness" is to look at the number of regional subscribers and the cost to carry that region's RSN's. It makes sense to me that a region that has...
