Any word from D* on when they are going to have a multi-room capabilities for their DVRs. The one thing that is really holding me back from reactivating D is the multi-room stuff. E* has the 622 which would work nicely. But I'm kinda waiting for the Windows Media Center/DirecTV/Home Media...

If I currently own two boxes and I'm not currently activated, they have been in the past, what happens if I don't activate them now and I wait until say May or June. When I activate them are they still considered owned by me or leased? Thanks, Josh

I'm tempted to switch but I'm waiting until later this year. I'm waiting for the first company to come out with a good whole house distribution system and ability to move shows to portable devices.

I'm a little more comfortable with this if it's just the H20 ahd HR20-250. We just need to be more educated. We knew that the OTA should would without the sat signal on earlier modeles. I have a HLD_HD. As long as they keep it on new boxes I'm fine. It's not the greatest but I understand D*...

You might try a search on 72.5 on this site, I think someone posted a manual on the 72.5 thing a bit ago.

Headline says it alls. I've kind of held of getting my locals as they are on 72.5 and I really don't want a second dish. Does anyone know with all these other satellites and locations that DirecTV is gonna have are they going to pull the locals off 72.5 and stick them on one of the other...

I would really hope it comes close, the 9th is only like 3 1/2 weeks away.

I'm sure part of that is the satellite, I'm sure it takes more than a couple months to reconfigure the satellite deployment to handle one satellite. The mistake some one made was putting the two satellites up together but I'm sure D* also got a discount for doing that. So basically I'm thinking...

Queston on the rebate. You aren't getting the 100 rebate at time of purchase are you? I'm guessing your still planning on sending in the form correct? But at 299 I may have to jump.

10/5 would make sense with D* Nov. 1 day for HD locals, that would give them a few weeks to test the bird out. I can honestly say I think S2 delay is wreaking havoc for D. I think they've had to backpedal a lot with it being delayed a number of months.

But if they are saying Nov for HD locals, it's pretty clear to me S2 isn't going up till October.
