    I was pondering whether to post this in here or create a new thread... ... but for people who have trouble with the apps, I was able to access my Hopper via dishanywhere.com using Google Chrome browser on my older Android tablet. It is running pretty good. Maybe not as smooth as the app but...

    The first I can live with. The reauthorizing is a pain in the behind. And it seems to happen every few weeks sporadically which is even worse than once a month.

    I HATE Google Assistant

    I like the addition of Google Assistant.. Conversely, I ask Alexa some basic questions about sports stats and standings and she is oblivious sometimes. Google Assistant has a better database and answers most of my questions and pops up cool visuals on the TV.

    NFL Thursday Night Football in 4k looks bland

    I for one am happy with the 4K picture. It is not leaps and bounds better than my local FOX affiliate or NFL Network but I do see a difference. Also, I am glad it is not 4K HDR because my Samsung in the Media room is only compatible with the 4K feeds.

    ********Update I just want to say thank you to Dish for adding 5 BEIN Sports online connect channels to Dish anywhere AND going above and beyond by adding the connect channel streams to the Program guide on Channels 859+. It is nice to be able to watch Spanish and French soccer Leagues...

    Nope. No one seems to care. As you said it has been an issue for years and it is horrible having to reboot the hopper each time I want to binge something I think people around here mentioned that it is Netflix that has to fix the issue and not Dish but it is still frustrating..     DISH March Madness

    I noticed the same thing on my Sony 4K with the grey tint. I would just switch the to live Football mode while watching 4K but it still looked odd and over-saturated. Thanks for the tip. I will try it out to see if it resolves that issue for me too.

    I think it has the potential to be a great app. Hopefully in the furure subchannels will be available and other non major networks that are local. Chicago only has 14 channels available. on the app which is way less than what I was expecting..

    It was easy to sign up for. Currently using it on my Joey. It is a bit buggy. Not impressed so far. *Edit, it is working now pretty good, I just had to be patient and exit out of the first channel I watched which took a while to load up for some reason..

    It is only supposed to be used for your locals in your city but technically there are always workarounds with VPNs.
