    AZBOX record mpeg4 on 125w

    looks like az elite does not record mpeg4 on 125w. tried to record diff channels on 125w pbs hd with no luck. it records whole thing but plays first 1 min only. sd records just fine. anybody else or just me? it recorded pbs hd just fine before 125w switched to mpeg4. azbox elite fw 4890

    lyngsat stated there is the utr channel on 12060h, last update may 17 2011. could not get it with azbox elite. can anybody confirm that? thanks

    looks like a usb controller issue in the hdd enclosure. i have 1.5 TB hdd split in 990MB and 500 MB, ext2, have no problem yet. az does not like ntfs. azbox elite, f/w 4980

    UPDATING DVBS.DAT FILE IN DISK1/DISK2_BACKUP

    dont use those stupid toolboxes... i use gftp in linux or filezilla in winblows, they both work fine. i still use xp. flint, try just to delete dvbs file from disk1, make sure its gone, after that copy a new dvbs to the disk1. reboot azbox with the POWER SWITCH.

    i use samsung 1.5TB with my elite with no problem. i split it in two partitions 980GB and 500GB, formatted in ext2

    DVD Transfer To MOVIE file folder

    i use mediainfo s/w to determine what file i need to watch just a movie with one soundtrack and mux it with trMuser. happy ripping!

    reserved record

    fixed! OK guys, i sorted it out. i noticed there is no info about tps like SR, frequency, etc.... on 125w sat. i rescanned it and now i can record everything SD and HD on this sat. TPs info on AMC21 was gone for unknown reason. when i tried direct record i got "do not use channel" message. thanks

    reserved record

    does anybody have luck to do reserved record on 125W PBS? i set time, etc. but looks like it does not do sh1t! i did reserved on some of the GAL19 @97w. i think it is an EPG issue. when i tried to record with a rec button it spits out something about channel message. using elite, f/w 4890, usb...

    azbox and SG2100 dont mix??

    BJ since you have original DVBS.dat in /DISK1/DISK2_backup dir you will have problems like this. nothing is wierd. if you afraid you can store your original dvbs.dat in your comp just in case, and play with your own list. but, you gotta edit a xml template then make a dvbs.dat from EDITED...

    i got this msg couple month ago. i dont think you can keep all settings. you gotta reload fw from a usb stick
