You are right. But I can assure your they are working hard to get past the problems. I believe BBM has another HD channel to go to after the transition in 2009 that will resolve the vast majority of the issues they face today on channel 3. Trust me, they want it to work too.

You are asking the same questions we asked DirecTV. We were hoping to find a solution of using neighboring spotbeams but were told they were at capacity. I believe DirecTV is just stuck until they can launch the two new birds later this year. It appears your only hope would be an OTA antenna.
