    I am more inclined to believe that E*'s code control (or whomever they outsource development to) is bordering on useless. I work in the telecom biz and have seen quite a bit of this from a handful of the equipment vendors. Vendor: "On version 11.0.1 We only changed A and fixed problem B"...

    I have encountered a new ‘feature’ in the latest update, perhaps it existed in the other versions and I just missed it. In any case, I am not fond of it. Set a recurring timer (‘event 1’) on channel A for 7:00p to 7:30p padded 1E3L (1 minute early, 3 minutes late). Set a timer (‘event 2’)...

    Caller ID issue...

    My 721's are both problematic (read useless) with caller ID; 301's and 311 work fine though. I tried the "caller id toggle" trick on the 721s, that works for about a day. I am not on DSL, nor VOIP; just a normal PSTN line. RMA'ing the 721 yielded no fix.
