    I would love to find out about upgrading as well. I am out of contract and currently have a 722 system. I would love to get the Hopper system if possible. Can a DIRT member let me know if this is possible?

    Looks like I may become an un-subscriber, I am not replacing the XM- ready radio in my car for the new channels, I'm sure this will not involve any increase in price when I am supposed to re-subscribe in January...

    Now I see that, thanks for the correction. If it was only to be the top 25 markets, Chicago would have been the closest to my location. I hope they do find a way to get more local info.

    Statement from DISH - Not Getting the New HD?

    Install went well, the installer showed up 30 minutes early, put up a 1000.2 dish and checked the install. All went well, although it took a little 'hit' from Dish put all the new HD channels on the guide. It looks great! Good job all the way around, and no charge!

    Just got off the phone with a very helpful Dish CSR, and a free EA dish will be brought with the tech tomorrow afternoon! So it seems that the upgrade will be free, not even the $15 co-pay with DHPP. We'll see how tomorrow goes.

    I have a 722, with a wing dish for 61.5, I dialed that dish in when I moved it this past summer. Haven't lost a signal yet!

    61.5 here in the Madison, WI market are working fine. Spotbeam reading 87 on the strength meter.

    HD Stutter

    It's back, I was watching local Fox in HD and the audio stutter started back up around the 2nd quarter of the GB/TB game. Did a reboot, no help there. Switched to off-air signal and the stutter was gone. Make me think that the uplink to Dish might have had a problem.

    HD Stutter

    On my 722 I have seen this a couple of times. A reboot was the only way to get rid of it. Now that I think about it, it's been about a month since the last time the stutter appeared. Must of been a software update.

    Dish Programming Changes (Effective August 1st)

    Even being a partner customer thought my telco, I got the upgrade to Platinum HD! Took about 20 minutes sitting on hold, but it's worth it!
