It beats me why anyone would pay for HD feeds of local stations when they are available over the air for free. Can anyone out there tell me why people do this? :confused:

Why do people do it? Because they are stupid uneducated idiots. No HOA rules, local laws or state laws can trump Federal law. Know your stuff and tell them to "STUFF IT". :D

I'm not sure the TR-40 will make it to market. I heard yesterday, 5/30, from a work buddy that the TR-40 was no longer on the CECB approved list.

Channel 8 is part of the upper VHF spectrum, is it not? Some antennas though listed as UHF only actually work (though with reduced gain) in the VHF band. I don't know much about this particular antenna, but I don't think I'd say it flat out won't work when it may work well enough to pickup VHF...

Satellite feed probably won't work with the outside coax connection unless your internals are setup for powering the LNB on the dish and the coax circuit will work in the satellite freqs. Since it's Jayco and not a high-end unit made for easy satellite connection, you likely will have to...
