Padgett, We have the same problem you have. My wife is hearing impaired and we MUST have CC. We recently upgraded to HD with Dish and have a VIP612 in the family room and a 222 in our bedroom. CC on the 222 does not work on all the HD channels. I will have to get back to you on exactly...
