I'm about to have a 5 LNB dish installed and already have an H20 reciever for my HD and local HD channels. My question is, can my Sony Sat-HD30 reciever bring in as many channels as the H20? In other words, will it be able to recieve signals from all 5 LNB's like the H20? Any info anybody...

I can really relate to this guys problems. I don't live in an apartment, but had one hell of a time trying to get my dish aligned properly. I called a pro installer and it was done and I was happy in about an hour and a half. Trust me, call somebody to do it.

As sort of a follow-up, I fianlly got my dish to recieve all 3 sat's - A,B,C at the same time, which is what I was having trouble with from the get-go. I called a pro to come do it! I had placed my triple LNB dish in the exact same spot as my old single LNB dish thinking it'd work there. Nope...

Actually, I didn't realize that larger dishes for DirectTV were even available. Are they that much better and is it just rain fade that they help aleviate?

Ok...ya got me on that last one. I could be on a wrong satellte? How could I do that? I know I'm trying to capture signals from 3 satellites, but I could be on a wrong one? 'splain that one to me if you don't mind. Thanks! :shocked
