GOHAWKS is absolutely right here. You will not get those games on your local PBS network anymore. Those games will only be carried on the BTN. I wonder how many regular people out there don't know anything about this!?!? The leverage of the Big Ten fans hasn't even begun to exist yet.

I own an 811 also...from what they said, it will cost us $299 to upgrade to a ViP622...but do we get a rebate or not? And do I have to send in my 811 that I own...I'll gladly send the 501 in that I lease.

Who actually has an 811 or an 921 and DOESN'T have the HD Pak? Whats the point? What a great deal from Dish Network.

I have an 811 and its the same way. I hate watching the short squatty stretched people. TNT is upconverting everything...I don't know how practical that is for live or taped sports....hopefully ESPN HD will change their ways.

I plan to have my Hitachi 51SWX ISF calibrated in June by Gregg Loewen. I have read in a few threads that "most people do not like results of the calibration initially, but after a few weeks they get used to it" or something to that effect. Is this true?? I assume it has something to do with...

Gregg is also scheduled to perform and ISF calibration on my Hitachi 51SWX set in June during his Memphis area tour...I can't wait to see this "improvement" everyone is talking about. I will post a summary after it happens. So far, he's answered all of my questions and has been very professional.
