Very happy to have DIY HD. I agree H2 is on the top of my HD wish list with Cooking number 2. I have missed them all since I moved from Dish, who has had them for years.

Keep them off and pay for HD channels from the other networks that are only shown in SD on Direct. DIY, Cooking, H2, etc....

I have had the new HD GUI for at least a month on both my HR24-200. This morning I had one of them stop playing back over the network so I did a reset on it using the 0 2 4 6 8 and it downloaded and reverted to the old GUI. I am in Albuquerque, NM. Is there anything I can do exept wait for the...

Just a quick question... Cn you disable the screen saver when paused. It is set for 10 mins or so and I would like to get rid of it or at least change it to a longer duration.

As time goes by I am getting very comfortable with the feature like Other Showings and the quick record from the guide. I am using a cheap URC-R6 that I learned the Skip forward and back commands from the Direct remote and it functions the same way. bookmarkn for jump to bookmart or start / end.

Just gave them a call and they are no longer picking up cancellation fees. They my start it up again but for now they don't.

Thank, A lot of good information there. As I get use to it I the HR24 to be laid out well. It is just that getting use to it takes a bit of time. Do yo know if custom folders on on the horizon? Also I will try and see if they can help out on the cancellation fee!

I don't think the installer had a clue regarding this. It came in Slip30 I set it to Skip30.

I am having a little regret but I feel I did not have much in the way of options right now. I think in a few months there will be a lot of changes. If you do not feel you have to switch over right now I would recommend holding off and take a look at the new technology coming out.
