DirecTV needs to have all the channels on that are on the Gemini Air and have them on the APP. I wonder if new customers would think if sign up and not choose the Air and go with the APP then see some of the channels they saw in their package aren't on the APP?

Too bad they can't do that for existing customers even the ones that still pay for the $23 ARS and the Whole Home DVR fee. One the other hand I wonder if it would end up costing existing customers more depending on how many receivers they had?

You forget about the new satellite they plan on launching.

Raise the price $10 and not add any more channels? Isn't that why they don't add the History channel because they have to take all the A&E channels, and they would have to raise the price adding those? Same with not adding METV, H&I and FETV?

I saw this at DTV's Facebook page. I contacted that Android TV box site that shows the latest and upcoming TV provider boxes, and he thought it was probably an A.I. generated image. The remote doesn't have channel numbers. Also, the UI looks different and is in some language I don't know.

It would be interesting to see what TPG does with DTV after they take full control of it in a year? How long would they keep it and make any improvements? Or would they sell it?

If you buy one, do you still have to pay the $7 a month after the first one being free?

DTV makes you pay that or was the Solid Signal? I know the first Gemini Air fee is free then each additional one is $7 a month.
