I don’t know when it happened but this Saturday I noticed the HBO channels in the guide are now greyed out. I’m streaming DirecTV app the HBO channels don’t even show up. Guess it’s time to adjust some DirecTV and AT&T plans since this benefit is no more.

It’s 2/27 and HBO is still working on DirecTV iPhone app. My bill for 2/22 through 3/21 still has the -16.99 Max credit and though not mentioned here the -25 credit with Aat&T unlimited. So not sure if this is pushed back till next billing cycle or what (3/22 through 4/21).

I thought I was going to lose the MAX discount and possibly the $25 a month AT&T wireless credit, but my latest bill still has these credits. Whenever they fall off from the separation of AT&T from TPG we are lowering our AT&T unlimited cellular plan.

Not yet. I think I will once HBO goes dark (have it via AT&T wireless).

I'm on Select. What's Preferred Choice? That seems one step down to save costs. Curious what that comes with.

Right now when I sign into max, I choose DirecTV as my provider and use those credentials. So I think it sounds like they would remove that option, similar to how Paramount+ doesn’t list Comcast as a provider, despite those customers seeing it worded as Showtime with Paramount+ on their bills...

You know what I noticed and it’s not a big deal, but it’s more consistency issue with the UI. The guide has a dark gray background and all of the other menus have a navy blue background. It’s kind of bizarre from a design standpoint. I wonder if there’s any plans for the guide screen itself...
