I have had this problem with my ViP-622 since I got it. I have 2 of these - both have this problem - Unfortunately it makes using the DVR a terrible experience when it happens - which is often. I have talked to Dish numerous times - they say that a software fix will fix it. Unfortunately...

I hope so... Does anyone have any comments about the very buggy recording setup and viewing? For some reason the unit did NOT record ER last night on OTA channel 039-01. Very sad.... Favorite show... ON the other hand, once the bugs are worked out, and I can stop trying various workarounds...
