Is it so hard to believe that DTV techs know more about something, DTV, than you? It a customer doesnt have a tv or HD tv for an HD install or upgrade a tech is not required to do it.

I do the alignment with a KaKu LNB then switch to the Swm LNB. No extra equipment needed. I use a Birdog.

It depends on why youre leaving Dish. They both have a lot of free deals going on now. Before you switch tell Dish and see how badly they want you as a customer.
