    Is the 922 free yet?

Nope, still $200, but I manage to get them to give me $10 off a month for 12 months, and a waived tech visit fee (since they require a tech install for the 922). That at least brings the cost to only $80.

    922 vs. 722/Sling/Google TV

Well in case anyone is wondering what I ended up deciding. I first scheduled to get a 722 upgrade based on the feedback I got from people, but at the last moment I said screw it, and switched it up for the 922. It's been a couple days now and I must say I'm glad I did. I currently have my 922...

    922 vs. 722/Sling/Google TV

Well I have a 622 right now, so I can't comment on either of them. I have an order in for the 922 to be installed next week but maybe I should switch it to a 722 w/Sling. If I did that I may go GoogleTV as well. I was just thinking long term the 922 would be better, but it seems no one has...

    922 vs. 722/Sling/Google TV

So what exactly are the reasons the 722/Sling is better then the 922 (besides cheaper)? Is the 922 really that unusable? What exactly is wrong with it? Does the 922's built-in sling not perform as good as the 722 w/Sling? Thanks for any details you can provide!

    922 vs. 722/Sling/Google TV

I was told there wasn't an extra fee for the 922, so maybe they got rid of it with the release of the sling adapter.

    922 vs. 722/Sling/Google TV

I actually just did a live online chat with their customer service, they transfered me to a customer loyalty specialist. They wouldn't give me the 922 for $100, but instead will give me $10/month off for 12 months ($120) plus waive the $95 tech charge. Apparently they have no clue about...

    922 vs. 722/Sling/Google TV

How are you liking the 922? Has it been pretty stable with the software updates? TV2 working good?

    922 vs. 722/Sling/Google TV

Thanks - I may have to give that a try. So does the 922 require a tech to come over to install it? That'll be nice to get the tech charge waive in addition - I also need them to come over anyways because my Dish is whacked out and can no longer tune most of the non-HD channels (loss signal)...

    922 vs. 722/Sling/Google TV

I have a 622, currently out of contract, and I can't decide which upgrade option to go with. I do have a 2nd TV and use the TV2 feature of my 622. I do not need the OTA adapter. I heard the 922's new software update enable TV2, so now that's an option for me. So here are the two options...

What upgrade offers should I be able to get?

Nice - since you have both boxes, which would you recommend right now if you could have one: 722k/Sling Adapter/Google TV or 922

I have a 622 receiver, can I get a newer model for free?

Yes, Dish is offering free upgrades to the 722k (at least they are for me) - it's $200 for the 922.

What upgrade offers should I be able to get?

I'm actually in the same boat as you - I have a 622, currently out of contract, and looking for upgrade options. I do use the TV2 feature of my 622, but I heard the 922's new software update will enable that - although I haven't heard any confirmations yet of people receiving this update, so...

SatelliteGuys Review: Logitech Revue with GoogleTV – A Diamond in the Rough

    DISH 622 (L631) & 922 (S110) Software Release Notes

Scott - do you know if future customers would get a 2nd remote by default with the update, like the 622 & 722 models? I assume it supports RF mode for tv2 remotes like the previous models.
