I have not seen anything regarding DISH and CES 2018. Did Dish have a booth? Did DISH make any announcements or introduce anything new? Did Scott Greczkowski attend? Why no coverage ad there had been in past years?

The 52.0 has to have IR because it can control your tv, DVD/Blu-ray etc. The H3 I'm guessing does not have IR.

I couldn't get the ethernet transfer to work from my HWS 2 to the new H3. It would say it was doing it. but it never did. The HWS 2 has 529 update (not Carbon). So iv'e been transferring using a EHD.

I have never had an installer restore timers. Whenever I mention it they give me a deer in the head lights look, and have no clue. In my initial pm from dirt on settings up my H3 upgrade they said "you will lose your timers".

I don't have dish to watch Netflix. It's nice, but not a deal breaker dealing an H3 install. I can watch Netflix on the TV, Blu-ray, or Appletv.
