if you are missing cover art still for shows. I would go into the menu and do a box reboot. Also I only believe my 4k Joey did a reboot. Again I will test this friday to confirm what it does.

I got the picture issue resolved I believe setting a few different picture calibration differently. It had nothing to do with aspect ratio or setting the circles properly in the Hopper screen adjust menu. I do have two LG tv's to respond to a post a few pages back. I had to use the auto back...

no i never got the chance to do thanks. Mine is clear now but I had to turn auto back light dimming on and change the picture a lot so while it looks pretty good now it's typically a dark picture which isn't always ideal.

I get the same results. It really doesn't make any sense why the quality should be that noticeably different. I cant see how in 2016 that it is difficult to broadcast something similar in terms of encoding compared to VOD through your internet connection. The bit rate, resolution, format, etc...

finally after extensive picture calibration setting changes got the picture looking good on both tv's. I hope so at least I may go home tonight and find my head was playing tricks on me. I spent so much time on it I just wanted to imagine life with it looking better lol :)

Well the cables out now can support 4k resolution, but no more than 24 Hz where as the 2.0 cable will support 60 Hz @ 4k with 32 audio channels and additional color space I think. The specs are out to manufacturers, but I am not sure about the cables now that I did further research
