The ability to erase channels is available in the newest IMG(1.0.4) which Indiana, Pittsburgh and Tampa have.

Just noticed I have this version, upgraded from 1.0.3. Only difference I've noticed so far is it gives percentage of recording space used/left instead of time. Hopefully some of the bugs are worked out too.
