Shucks, Jim, that ain't what I wanted to hear. Could you suggest some of the cheaper options for the equipment needed to facilitate the simple function of communicating with Dish's Remote Access for simple scheduling tasks through one's satellite modem/router setup? Many thanks for your input.

Instead of a Home Plug setup, could one use (with a 622) an 802.1b USB adaptor? I am trying to set mine up to take advantage of Dish's Remote Access feature for doing stuff such as programming the DVR. No game playing.
