    DishPro Plus 44 Switch Review

FSS means "Fixed Service Satellite". It is different than DBS, means "Direct Broadcasting Satellite"; if you use your 18" dish it will not work. Another satellite type is MPS, means "Medium Power Satellite". ASTRA satellites are example of MPS satellite. Thanks. :)

    DishPro Plus 44 Switch Review

    That should be useful. I have a 110, a 119, and a 148. The DPP44 is useful to add a 61.5 or 121. :) My member name is called DishProPlus44. :) I chose that useful name.

Jan Johnson said this: Yep, it may take up to 2-3 weeks for the software to spool to all of the groups of 522's, should get it in the 1st week of August (from July 2004). Thanks. :)

    522 Single Mode Instructions

Yeah, keep watching on the system info screen daily. Here's a hint: There is a feature called "Time Left". If you see this, this means you got L2.01. If not, it's still L1.69. Be sure to turn off your receiver before you sleep because it may do overnight software update. Thanks.

    522 Single Mode Instructions

That option is grayed out when the software version is L1.69. Sorry. Must be L2 Series software version.

    522 Single Mode Instructions

I don't need instructions on how to operate Single Mode. I know it from the August Tech Forum how to use the Single Mode. Not needed. I love the Single Mode, anyway.

921 part of package in future?

 Near future? Can't do that. There is a new HD-DVR receiver called 942, and 921 expected to be discontinued when the 942 releases probably 2005 or 2006. Sorry. :no

    811 w/ no power

Should be a good idea. Replacements are good if your receiver is not working. :)
