Read the owners manual. You can program up to 31 codes. You may need to use a splitter and combine the UHF antenna signal with the TV2 signal in order to get good range with all of those UHF remotes. Put one on the box and another one in the TV2 location with a UHF antenna.

You can always set up a favorites list and just don't include that channel. I know what you mean though. It really sucks to get extra channels that you don't want. What happened to the good old days of just 3 channels that barely came in anyway?

All you had to do was run the check switch test on both units and you would have been fine. This is typical after such a major software update as this one.

Engineering at DISH Network is aware of the software issue. This problem will be corrected in the next software update. Don't lose your recordings by calling in and getting a new box.

You have a tree, building or other obstruction in the way. I would recommend ordering a satellite finder so you can peak in the dish better, get a better signal strength and not lose your channels. And, I wouldn't recommend pre-paid as a method of "testing the waters" before doing a commitment...
