It sounds like it may be related to the bug introduced with the new firmware. Try tuning to an OTA channel with a strong signal and then back to satellite and see if that fixes it. This is supposed to be corrected with another update possibly as early as tonight. See this thread for more...

I just got home from work and noticed I now get USA on Ch. 522.

When I wasn't able to get the transparent menu to appear earlier it was on an SD station with STB set to native mode. It does work, however, when on any 1080i channel. It does not work on ABC (720p), but it does work on ESPN. I guess this means that ESPN is still being sent at 1080i.

I've tried all the tricks but no transparent surf bar here. I guess I'll have to wait for the next update to see it.

I don't think it's that simple. While it may be true that no one would subcribe just to get this one fight, if someone is on the fence about what satellite/cable provider to get, this could sway their decision. Or if someone with another provider is considering switching to Voom and planning...

Why isn't Voom advertising the hell out of this? Right or wrong Tyson does attract an audience and showing this fight for free could bring in many new subs if people knew about it. But the fight isn't even advertised on Voom's website. We all want Voom to succeed so they can grow and...

I remember one member reporting that his STB had not yet downloaded the new software (5.68) 4 days after being installed. He mentioned that he hadn't been powering down his box at night. This would seem to indicate that it's true.

My STB locks up often and sometimes requires more than one reboot to receive program guide info. Try rebooting again. I'm one of the lucky ones who isn't having OTA mapping problems but hopefully the new software will correct this lockup problem.

I'm not sure if this has been discussed but it would be nice if the guide could go back 0:30. It's frustrating when you catch the end of program but can't tell what it is because the guide is telling what's on next and you can't go back to check.

Consider yourself lucky. It's happened to me 3 or 4 times in the last few days. What sucks is that it sometimes takes the guide almost an hour to download after rebooting.
