Wonder how the DPH42 did that? Was the RG6 copper clad steel or copper center conductor? I've had connectors go bad, but never a failure like that on our sat/antenna setup.

Nice layout diagram, what do you use to make your diagrams? Also on your modulated signal, does it come out full screen or letter boxed like the VIP722 TV2 output?

Question about the Dish Pro Hybrid Switch, Model DPH42: All the diagrams show the power inserter between the "Receiver Satellite In port 1" of the DPH 42 and the DPH Solo or Duo Hub, can the power inserter be between the Hopper and the hub? From the DishDepot.com product installation...

Thanks, but I'm considering switching to the Wally. Keeping my fingers crossed that this "Wally Testers Wanted" is a trial of the rumored enabling of two satellite tuners in the Wally. Of course with Dish, there's no telling if it ever is enabled.

Has there been an update for the VIP211Z? I tried the Dish Dual OTA Adapter, p/n 212553, UPC 753960015194, and it didn't work with my 211Z. I know the old, out-of-production, single-tuner OTA adapter works with the 211z, but the newer dual-tuner didn't work when I tried it a couple months ago...

Nothing special, but I don't have a good TV tuner program on my Windows 10 laptop, so I had to go with Kodi and NextPVR to test the Dish dongle. I wanted to use Hauppauge's WinTV v8 application, but it's evidently tied to the hardware you buy it with, it wouldn't take the serial number that came...
