Does anyone know what the white triangle or arrow that appears in the upper right corner of some channels means? This appears on the guide where the station call letters are. Never noticed it before and DTV has no idea when I asked them about it. Just curious.

While I am finding the guide speed very fast, I have seen a dramatic slowdown in search times and just about everything else. Is it just me or has anyone else found this too???

Is anyone else finding the speed way down on Boolean searches with the new user interface??? What used to take seconds now takes up to four minutes and when I select a show it takes about a minute and a haf to get to it! Is there anyway to get back the old, sd interface? DTV says no but I...

I dl'd the new UI about two weeks ago and just got rid of it. While the guide was super fast, the searches and just about everything else were much slower. Also, while the lettering was sharp, the GI was not as comfortable to work with. I did give it a two week try. Hoping they will inprove...

The first time it happened it was a DTV ad which is why I think they can control it.

Has anyone noticed in the last month that there are certain ads that will not let you skip? You can FF but no skipping allowed. Always the same ads. I wonder if DTV is charging advertisers a bit more for this feature?

Right. But if they are not, it won't. I guess the real question is why is this simple option not available?

Because so many shows are starting 30 to 40 seconds early and most shows last minutes are credits it would be nice to be able to clip the earlier show so as to be able to see the beginning of the later show when they conflict. Just a nice option to have.

I strted a new thread because the other was so old I figured I might get a better response here. By the way, the answer I received in the other thread was not helpful. I am looking for a way to auto-record and clip the end of an earlier show, not manually record each time. If there is no way...

I know we can start shows early and end shows late. Is there a way to end recordings early i.e. subtract one minute from recording time? This would be most helpful.

I can begin early but please tell me how to end early. D* DVRS do not have that option..only to end late.

I tried many times last night to do the download at the proper time. When I entered the code, I could only enter the first three digits and then the receiver stopped responding to the entries. I did this as soon as the blue screen came on. Any help would be appreciated as I am fairly new to...
