Hey - I'm the OP on this thread - just saw your post and wanted to reply to you. My problems went away (for the most part) after removing all but one Ethernet cable from one Hopper (I have 2/H, 2/J) and putting everything into bridging mode. No more freezing, no more weird audio synch issues...

so I finally have the latest software on the Hoppers/Joeys and after re-enabling bridging (I still only have one ethernet cable plugged into the main Hopper). Everything is working, no black screens of death, etc., except now the Home Media option doesn't work on the Joeys... Either way, last...

Apps for Amazon Prime Instant Video and Netflix... I can dream, right?

Thanks! Wondering though if there's any advantage/disadvantage between the two choices? Either plug everything back into ethernet and disable bridging or have a single hopper with ethernet and bridging enabled... ? Either way isn't a problem, just would like to know what the "best" way is....

Just got to work and saw the post about the new software push. Read through all the posts and don't see anything that specifically states whether having bridging disabled now will require that I plug ethernet cables back into my other Hopper and 2x Joeys.... Anyone know for sure?

Better rubber feet on the Joeys - with the power cord, hdmi and coax pulling on it, the Joey doesn't stay put very well...

-A recycle bin, akin to Windows, that allows your to retrieve a show you accidentally deleted

-An app with Dish notices - update announcements, channel lineup changes, etc.

-An app that allows you to pick a dynamic background - fireplace, aquarium, fireworks, etc.

-The option to color code new programs in the guide for quick reference
