From what I've seen in the field, using a solo dish for the 129 is almost always going to have better signal strength.Unless you get some extreme weather, the 1k.2 setup should be more than sufficient, assuming the install is done properly and it has a quality lnb

Leave the dual coax cable coming from the dish. Dual cable is a dish standard to use. If you take it off, the next time a good technician comes out, it'll be right back on there.

It's menu, #6,#1,#3 for system info, let it do it's check then go to details.

Output being the key word there. I always use the first output (the one on the opposite side of the lnb in).

That's normal for when it starts up. You said that you had other units fail also, is there good airflow to the unit? Lots of dust getting sucked into it? What about the eletrical outlet, has it been tested to make sure it has the correct polarization? I've found that when units repeatedly...
