Thanks Bob, he's being a little evasive because most of his business is doing the installs for the domestic provider. :-) I am often in Pittsburgh on business - since the company is paying, it's Mitchell's and Rock Bottom every night! Beautiful city you have there, full of friendly folks.

I have an existing dish with the domestic provider's logo that simply needs to be repointed, which a local installer will do for $50.

Thanks for the reply. I have no existing account, but would like to establish one. The potential problem is that I don't have any US identification, so I'm asking if any is required to set up an account.

Is any identification required to obtain a Dish 922 receiver at a retail store? Do they need a driver's license, or do they just care about a credit card?
