My replacement 411's HDMI went black today. POS. Nothing I did could revive it. Back to the phone with DISH.

Today the audio over HDMI stopped working. Nothing could get it back. IMO these receivers are junk!:mad:

I received my replacement 411 today. HDMI is working fine; knock on wood. The old receivers rigged set-up worked until I unhooked it.

I think you have a one year warranty, but ff your really concerned, I'd take it somewhere there's a TV with HDMI and test it. Please keep in mind however, that the HDMI port may work at first and only fail later. Mine work for about 2-3 weeks before it failed.

I love having the variety of HD availble by Dish, I just wish their receivers were better.
