DTiVo's allow you to manually override the time zone. It's under Messages & Setup/Satellite/Time Zone/Daylight Saving. If you've set everything correctly but it is an hour ahead, setting it to Alaska time might be the solution.

Am I missing something, or does the rear view only show one Satellite in? Is it a picture of a D10, instead of an R15?

You can record two shows at the same time, and watch a recorded show, or record one show and watch another live show. It would take 3 tuners and inputs to record two shows and watch a third one live at the same time. The only way to do this would be to have 2 DTivos.
