    A color bar test pattern with a scroll is running on KZDN-LP in Denver On both the agent and I and Movies! channels with no explanation? It says: ATTENTION VIEWERS: DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL HEROES AND ICONS PROGRAMMING WILL CEASE AT 3:00 PM MST.

    When I first got into radio (1971), we had to do a Legal ID as close to the top and bottom of the hour as possible that didn't interrupt the flow of the program, per FCC rules. It was the Call Sign immediately followed by the city of license. Anything else was not required, but allowed. For...
