try using different method to attach signal cables to tv from receiver. i had same problem and got rid of the pb pr y cables and went to av cables instead. works great now.

i read your problem with your 722k. Wow! it's the exact thing mine is doing. i gave the old boys a call at dish for tech ass. no help. they sent me a new remote (ir) for tv 1. still no help. they sent me a new 722k unit receiver. still no help. tv 2 remote (uhf) always works fine. also...
