The best thing to do is contact dishnetwork and let them tell you if the equipment you have will work on the road. i believe you will have to have something else in order to view your channels on the road, but check with them and let them tell you. ;)

It depends on the channels you want. If they are HD channels there is no charge, because they didn't charge me and I have two dishes, but if they are international channels then they will charge you.
