what we did I have heard good things about the Roku box. We wanted to be able to access any TV channel on the internet, which I don't think the Roku box does. So here is what we did. We bought an air mouse. We just bought a cheap gyration brand mouse on amazon for less than 30 bucks...

I didn't pay close attention ( I was doing something else with Fox on) but I know that it buffered between 6-12 times. Not real bad. Not real great.

Based on what others have posted on this forum I do think Sky Angel does at least know that some servers have gotten bogged down at times. (Election night, etc.) Whether it is Neulion or Sky Angel the bottom line is they might need some more servers. As for our service, now that things have...

I would second that they need some servers in the midwest. Chicago would make sense. Our buffering situation was fixed by changing servers but now we get the 'server busy' message a couple of times a day.

Now that we got ours running how it should, we could not be happier! It was worth going through a little bit of a headache. I've been having some health problems over the last 2 months and have had to rest quite a bit. I could not imagine what I would do without Skyangel. The 48 hour rewind...

good news Well.... I think we got things fixed. I spent an hour and half on the phone with a very helpful man from tech. support. He went over everything, and even stated to us that the problem was not on our end. We live in extreme northern Wisconsin (by Lake Superior) and they had told us...

Please don't blame me for something when the problem isn't on our end! We have way more than enough bandwidth, that is not the problem. But, if you want to make an assumption that we don't or blame us as subscribers, have at it.

Iceberg - thanks for the answer. If I am understanding you correctly, then I would only need the one glorystar box with a second dish to make this work? I would think the new DVR box would have the same ability.
