In the Nov 2004 Men's Health Magazine they have a "Gear Guide" section with this month having "The Lust List". Voom HD Satellite Service is on that list. They say:

Works great for me. I live in Bettendorf. I think the only "local" channel I'm having problems getting is the WB. Other than that, the locals come in fine for me with the OTA. It took me around 2 weeks to get installed.

Well I decided to climb up on my roof and turn the OTA Antenna. Doing this got me 3 more local channels! :D Now if I could only get my neighbor to cut down his big tree so I could pick up WB out of Iowa City... ;)

Any Voomers in the Quad-City Area? So far so good on my Voom service, except I cannot pick up WHBF-4. I get some sound and on occasion the top-half of a picture, but it looks like it's having problems getting a signal. I'm just trying to figure out if it's my problem or WHBF in Rock Island.

I just got installed (I live in Bettendorf, IA) from Extreme Services out of Iowa City. I wasnt even here, my wife let the guy in. He did a very professional setup for us. Now I'm enjoying the GREAT picture. :D

it IS Wartech. Are they THAT bad? I might have to call Voom to see what they can do.
